1971 to 1978 : THE BEGINNING - First concerts at The White House (under the auspices of Senator Claiborne Pell) and first concerts with Paco de Lucia.
1979 - "Grand Prix du Disque" Best Canadian recording.
1980 -"One of the year's twelve best international records," Guitar & Lute Magazine (Hawaii).
1981 - Command performance for the Governor General of Canada.
1982 - Performed with Andres Segovia in his film at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York, televised throughout North America over PBS TV.
1983 - Highly successful concerts at Carnegie Hall , New York, the National Gallery of Budapest, Hungary and Wigmore Hall, London, England. CBC TV documentary"Michael Laucke: Guitar Recital."
1984 - Beginning of the "Michael Laucke Series" with Waterloo Music Co. Ltd., Canada (series of guitar transcriptions).
1985 - Video Series "How to Play Classical Guitar with Michael Laucke" (8 video cassettes); worldwide distribution.
1986 - 87:Total of 238 concerts given (Sept. '86 to Sept. "87). Release of cassette series "Michael Laucke: Guitar Recital.
1987 - 88 : Asia Tour - China, Hong Kong and India. First concert at Place des Arts , Montreal. All concerts sold out.
1989 - Tour of Israel(Jerusalem, Tel-Aviv, Haifa, Beersheba).
1990 - Special guest star in cable TV feature film "I Won't Dance."
1991 - World premiere with the Montreal Symphony Orchestra the "Flamenco Concerto", written for Michael Laucke by Michel-Georges Brégent. Received as "Brilliant" by reviewers.
1992 - Michael Laucke & Fiesta Flamenco starred in the IMAX film entitled "Momentum". It was produced by the National Film Board for the Seville World Fair, where it was seen by some 18 million viewers.
1993 - Release of highly successful album "Spanish Guitar".Sold 150,000 copies in 22 countries.
1994 - 95: Tours in Canada and native province of Québec.
1996 - Release of album "Michael Laucke & Fiesta Flamenco", Distribution Select.
1997 - World Tour...
